So. It feels like every entry is an excuse for not being on this site...ever...or posting any new pictures. Well, there are reasons for that. I graduated for one! Survived college, got a degree, and even got into an awesome graduate school program which I am starting in...about a week. Good Lord where did this summer go? Still, I'm very excited for the big move, and to start something new! Anyway, I am very, very behind on posting new egg pictures. I've made a number of new eggs since the last time I've been on, and unfortunately am not intending to add more tonight. Maybe over the next couple days I'll add some, but if not, then it won't be for awhile since I'll be getting settled into my new life. However! I am back because I have some very exciting news! I finally got off my butt and opened up a shop to sell my eggs on Etsy! Check it out!!  [link]
There are a lot of new eggs up on there, and eventually most or all of my eggs pictured here will make it up, when I have the time to put up all the listings. If you have one egg in particular that is not listed that you would be interested in purchasing, by all means message me at Etsy and let me know, and I'd be happy to put up a listing for you!!
Best to all!

it's insane you're not more popular, those eggs are so intricate.

Haha! Thank you! Though, I hardly ever post the work I do, and psyanky is not a very well-known art form, so it doesn't really surprise me!

I've never heard of it. But one could consider it easter egg art, or design in general, it's still beautiful through whatever process you used. Like a faberge egg without the jewels. Is there some trick to getting the designs on there so nicely? All I can tell is the color layering thing.

Well, the tools used to apply the beeswax are very fine, allowing for a lot of detail - it does take a steady hand though. I can also adjust the brightness of the colors by how long I keep the egg soaking in the dye. But yeah, it mostly takes practice and patience.

When I was little my mother would read me a story of a lady who loved to wax eggs, I remember thinking how beautiful they were. I had no idea people still make waxed eggs so it was a nice surprise to happen upon your gallary. They are works of art.

Thank you! It is something that truly brings me joy, and I do wish it was a more well-known art form!
